Beacuse I turned Off the GPS and manually went to the Philippines Maps it just give me city names i.e. Quezon City, Manila etc...etc....Is that the Case? So when I go back to the Philippines and turn the GPS On it will give me the street names right?
Thanks

How can I put my Nuvi in a demo mode? I looked at the full manual and dont see it can you walk me thru....

1. you can download our standard map and install it into your gpsmap from this thread:
http://www.roadguide.ph/forums/showthread.php?t=5
2. you can also download our demo map version 1.07 from this thread:
http://roadguide.ph/forums/showthread.php?t=17
but this can not be loaded into your gpsmap, you can open it using mapsource software.
3. we also have our contributors map version 1.07c but its available only for contributors.
how to be a contributor, check this thread:

Gents,
A little observation. I was navigating around manila today using the standard map. I was led several times down the same "very" narrow street (including parked Tricycles and Fxs).
Comparing the demo map and the standard map, they look similar - I specified not to be taken down the narrow streets, but it continued to send me down it . Does the contributors map use all the same size streets?

Welcome to Roadguide. Please start reading the "how tos" and if you don't understand something, dont hesitate to ask questions.
We are looking forward for your contributions especially from the marine area. Most of the data here are concentrated on the land side. We difinitely need you contribution to make this map for land and marine. Additional data around San Miguel Bay will come out on the next issue (Version 1.08).
To avail the updated version, you must contribute something to this map and be promoted into Contributor status. By that time, you can download the and install to your GPS the succeeding updated versions.See FAQ for Newbies below
