The 5.17 is an older version found at the old website. The latest and greatest version is 1.03. There is a demo version (1st page) 1.03 which you can use in mapsource but cannot be loaded/used in your GPS device. You can have the contributor version (can be used in gps device) once you have a contributor status.

Until you become one.

As long as you're a junior member, you can't have access to the contributor version.

I do not use Windows but from the looks of it, the trojan was found/located in your trash bin.

WHen I tried to install this file it was flagged by my virus program.

help! I'm getting the ff error message during installation:

"file corrupted, please download and install again" in message box (yes, i did - 3x)

then

"CRC failed in 63287210.img" on installer screen

what should i do can any body please help me thanks alot most appriciated more power to admins and contributors

Keep trying. I have downloaded/tested it countless times and it's working fine.

Hi, I'm from Seattle, Washington. I've been traveling to the Philippines a lot over the years. I would like to contribute data and hopefully acquire the contributors version. I travel mostly to the visayas... ie. Iloilo, Cebu, Negros.

Hi Royale775. Please read the FAQ's and "How to's" in this forum. Answers to your questions are pretty much covered in the different threads. Data from provincial areas are very much welcome as it will expand the coverage and accuracy of our maps.

The map available for download in this thread is the old map, Philippines Routable v5.17 released last year and is an unlocked map. It's the one made available to junior members. As soon as a junior member attains contributor status, he/she gets the unlock code of the latest map which is the roadguide.ph v1.03 and be able to use that map in his/her GPS device.

you can't. unless you become a contributor. then the administrator will give you an unlock code...

I have GIS road maps and I would like to contibute. How do I go about it? My data is 1st order gathered using survey grade Trimble receivers and reference to NAMRIA reference points.
