But to my suprize all the bin files were still there. It was nice to have my 1's data but all my dirty secrets are still in there! Is there a safe way to delete the .bin files? or is it a huge circular buffer or linked list? Can I do any damage deleting them from my nuvi?

      Once you have converted your 1-sec tracks to gpx file, you can delete it from your nuvi. Delete the folders inside /garmin/logs. Or you can cut/paste it and transfer it somewhere in your HD.
      Storing it in your nuvi or SD card will consume space eventually.

        unmapped road from UP going to Marikina

        attaching... just wondering why my data points don't seem to have altitude information intact. i might just try out a different method to collect tracks and waypoints soon.

        EDIT: apparently this is only an issue when i mark waypoints.
