My first post. Contributing just one POI for now, in case I'm doing it wrong.

BigBert's Professional Detailers in Q.C. (Automotive)

1. download the 1.05 demo map
2. edit the waypoint so it's not in the middle of the road.
3. name format is <name of waypoint>@<street where it's in>#<if you know their phone number>

so in map source you name this waypont as: bigbert's professional detailers@gregorio araneta, ave.

This is already viewable in Mapsource but cannot be searched in Nuvi. Jetro missed this in his trip to Ilocos.

now that I saw it, i find this strange. I plotted the coordinates in the nuvi... and there it was "la paz sand dunes" . but when i tried searching the poi, it doesn't show up, both in mapsource and in the nuvi

yep, i checked it again, and i think it would be accepted.

well, i think you need to send at least 50pois for the contributor status... but then again, im not sure. there are other ways of getting the contributor status.
