I noticed a Waypoint on the Toledo Wharf Road in Cebu, and not at all sure it is in the correct location.

This Waypoint is near Manapis not Lutupan!

Me and my asawa stayed in Spring Park Mountain Resort in 2002 with Cebu Hash House Harriers, sorry did not have my Nokia N95 8GB phone back then so none of the photos I took, are GEOtagged

Spring Park Mountain Resort is in Barangay Cantabaco, near Lutopan, 6038 Toledo City, I think you will find.

Today, on retuning from our Green Trail Ride #16 I saw the entrance to 'Spring Park Mountain Resort so pressed the Track Log Point button on my WBT-201

This is the GPS Coordinates of that 'Push Log Point'

Lat.=10.3056116, Long.=123.7362699, Alt.=307m,
N10 18.336 E123 44.178 - Revised Location

N10 18.318 E123 44.197 - Existing Entry

Compare with the existing Waypoint for Spring Park Mountain Resort, which I looked for at that given location on my Garmin Nuvi 255 and did not see it.

The difference is not that much, but enough that I did not see it the first time from the RoadGuide.ph Waypoint position.

Sorry to bother with such a small error!

Even though I have been there, in 2002, I never realized where Spring Park Mountain Resort was actually located!

where is the waypoint correction attachment?

coordinates are not enough as sometimes the actual coordinates have to be checked with the present map if they coincide with the intended position. difference sometimes due to map offset.

you have to send WAYPOINT CORRECTION in gdb format

read WAYPOINT STANDARDS to guide you in your contribution.

your waypoints are ok. but pls do check it with the latest demo map as some of them are already there. if the existing one on the map is incorrect, then pls do indicate that the existing one should be replaced by the one you submitted. thanks.
