hi! what do you mean by these tracks are already there? its only road names. did i do something wrong...I hope not or my 4 hours just went nowhere

If only road names then no need to trace it in GE, just put WPs as per Jan's instruction on first post of this thread: http://www.roadguide.ph/forums/showp...00&postcount=1.
Jan wants to have WPs to automate changing of names, no tracks and routes should be included.
Sorry but if you use Jan's way, you wont need 4 hrs.

Tracks with better resolution means recorded tracks with 1 sec interval of points. With better resolution tracks, our map will be more accurate.
GE trace will not have 1 sec interval, it will depend on the points you plotted.

either method is ok for roadnames.
the tracks are the most precise but more cumbersome way

Try Method 2. It will save you time as long as you provide the explanations thru WPs so that there will be no confusion.
