pls adjust your setting to 1-sec interval for track recording.
you got a great unit in 60csx, use it in full.
non-1-sec track is only acceptable for those tracks not on the map yet.
Hello Sir Reiji0463, i try 1-sec interval, the problem is, when i save this, the garmin reduce to only 500 points.
I think you want the active log track?
or do i understand that wrong?

          hi sir,

since the track is already there. maybe this should be uploaded in the tracks correction thread
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.

Hi glenngso. Please check your track settings. It seems that "stick to road" feature is on. This should be "at GPS location" or something like that (basing on garmin xt and not a nuvi). Please note as well that this thread is for NEW tracks not yet on the latest map. So tracks that overlap/overlay existing roads should be removed so only the NEW tracks remain. However, if you think the tracks you have that overlay existing roads is of better resolution and shows the turns of the road better, then that track can be uploaded as a CORRECTION in the tracks correction thread. Helps also if you rename the track you are submitting with it's road name (if you know the name) and/or the road condition (i.e. paved, unpaved, 4x4, dirt bike trail). It can be done like this Mabuhay Rd (unpaved) instead of the default ACTIVE LOG: 17 JAN 2010 13:03 name... HTH

                    Hi sir,

did you mean the "off road" feature? because i can't seem to find the stick to road feature to turn it off.

Your Nuvi might have 1 sec tracking/easter egg feature which is best contributing tracks. Look in the menu "where am I " feature. if you have you also need the wnutrack software (which is downloable here) to upload the 1 sec tracks (gpx format) and save itin mapsource as gdb format
