Guagua Pampanga Waypoints And Some Barangay

please read the waypoint standard as some of your waypoint doesnt meet the required 8-10 meter or 25-30 feet away from the center of the street. and also this :

N. Ideal distance of waypoints with respect to the road

To be consistent and to make the waypoints look better in the map, please place your waypoints at a distance of 8 to 10 meters (25 to 30 ft) perpendicular from the center of the road.

Please use the "Distance/Bearing tool" in the mapsource. Another method is to move a waypoint perpendicular to road then stick it to the center of the road, then move it again back, but taking note of the distance from the center of the road (take a look at the bottom left corner of your mapsource screen) until it's at least 8-10m from the road. (suggestion by Borgie)


O. Placement of waypoints along a street corner

a. Waypoint has access on one side of the corner - place the access side 8-10m from the street and the non-access side >8-10m to put a bias on the access side.
b. Waypoint has access on both sides of the corner - place the waypoint equidistant (8-10m) from both streets. No bias.


P. Waypoints along tracks not yet existing in the map

To avoid confusion whether a waypoint that was uploaded is located along a non-existing track in the current map version, please include the raw track along with the waypoints combined in one file only. The tracks will be used as reference only and will ensure that indeed the waypoints positioning are up to standard. If no track was recorded (waypoints only), then please indicate in the comment field by putting "no tracks" or "tracks missing".

Please note though that you still have to upload the raw tracks separately (without the waypoints) in the tracks thread for them to be included in the next map version.

Please checked the comments made by hbt above as it applies to your upload as well. Also, please check for duplicates (i.e. you uploaded waypoints that are already existing in the demo map v1.09)... TIA

Thank you very much for your feedback. I incorporated all your comments in this revised file which includes the following changes:

1. made sure that Waypoints are 25-30 feet from the road via ruler (with exemption of open-air stores which are located further inside paseo Sta rosa)
2.
a)waypoints which are in a corner - with bias 25-30 feet on entrance side and further in non-entrance side
b) Waypoints in a corner with entrance both sides- no bias

3.included the tracks for waypoints without road yet.

hi sir empty,

some of your waypoint are beyond the waypoint standars of 25-30 feet or 8-10 meters away from the center of the street, and also please include the address of the waypoints if possible. while it is mandatory for police and hospital to include their address and telephone number. (easier searching in case of emergency)
