Hi carbongray and welcome to Roadguide. My advise re your uploaded files is for you to accumulate your waypoints first (new and correction) before uploading instead of uploading only 1 or a couple of waypoints. That way, when it's time for your to PM the judge (when you think you've contributed enough), it would be faster for the judge to check as there would be fewer files to link. For us checking the contributions, it's also much better to check many waypoints in one go rather than 1 or a couple in an uploaded file. Remember, it's not the number of files you upload, but the total number and quality of the waypoints that you contributed that will determine whether you have contributed enough to earn the contributor's map .. TIA

welcome to roadguide.
1. pls edit your waypoints both distance and name and also icon. and pls follow the waypoint standards.
2. pls remove your personal waypoints such as your home, your friend's house, etc. and also default waypoints of garmin.
3. for uncommon acronyms, it is advisable to type the name instead of the acronym. unless it is a widely known acronym like BIR, BDO, etc.
4. pls use the demo map as your reference to avoid duplicates, (pertaining to Ctk - Christ the King church). if your waypoint is more accurate than the previous one, then pls submit a deletion file at waypoints corrections thread.
5. street names should be submitted at track and routing corrections thread.
6. pls separate your tracks from your waypoints and upload them as separate files on their respective threads. but then again, pls refer first to the 1.09 demo map to be sure that you are not uploading an already existing road.
7. pls remove the maps (33 maps) on your file - pertaining to the map tab on the left side of mapsource.

pls edit and repost sir. and also delete your previously uploaded file to prevent duplicates. (to delete the file, click edit link on your post)

What to put in the comment field (with addition)

a. Description of waypoint if it is an uncommon one (unfamiliar to most of us, no appropriate symbol, etc.)
b. The word "correct" if a correction of existing waypoint in demo map. To be uploaded in the waypoints thread
c. The word "wrong" if a deletion of existing points in demo map. To be uploaded in the waypoints corrections thread
d. The word "tracks not yet existing/missing" or "no recorded tracks" when uploading a waypoint that is located along tracks not yet existing in the current map. To be uploaded in the waypoints thread
