please download the 1.09 demo version and use it as reference coz a lot of your waypoint already exist. and also take time to read the "waypoint standard" and the FAQ inside the how to section so that you'll know the proper way of marking a waypoint

N. Ideal distance of waypoints with respect to the road

To be consistent and to make the waypoints look better in the map, please place your waypoints at a distance of 8 to 10 meters (25 to 30 ft) perpendicular from the center of the road.

Please use the "Distance/Bearing tool" in the mapsource. Another method is to move a waypoint perpendicular to road then stick it to the center of the road, then move it again back, but taking note of the distance from the center of the road (take a look at the bottom left corner of your mapsource screen) until it's at least 8-10m from the road.


In mapsource, click View>Show Toolbars and make sure Tools is checked. A yellow ruler should appear on your toolbar. This can be used to measure the distance of the waypoint from the center of the road.

im using garmin road trip and demo map 1.01. mac user po.
regarding sm batangas it doesn't exist in my demo map. sorry for the wrong info. but i way mark it w/ my colorado right in front for sm batangas. thanks for the advice.
