1. Delete unnecessary points or excess tracks,
2. Delete overlaps to existing roads,
3. Edit your track to make it an straight line or smooth curve,
4. Use join track tools in mapsource to join tracks of same road,
5. Submit road or route correction if existing road needs to be corrected,

I have 2 tracks.. sorry my WM hanged on me during the trip so there is a skip between two tracks.. i have seperated them already as not to confuse anyone.

The two tracks you submitted are already existing in 1.09. Submit only tracks if the roads are not existent or your tracks are better than existing ones. In that case you must upload it in the track and route correction thread. In recording tracks you must activate 1-sec feature of your GPSr. Edit your tracks by deleting excess points and make your track at least straight or follow a smooth curvature and verify it against the 1.09 demo version before uploading it.

road not indicated in roadguide. off road but not 1s track, since it was traced before the discovery of diagnostic logging of 1xxx series. it's just a straight road which meets "Rd" which would make route to e rod elem school more appropriate and enclose the rodriguez multi purpose hall

thank you for replying. but track 003 is also a separate road. it forms a triangle with portion of track 016 and portion of 10th street. there are also no waypoints in the our lady's village tracks. the waypoints seen in sts. peter and paul subdivision are intended to name the street (which i followed in the guide). but if it is not needed, then i would be glad to remove it.

but i will remove the excess track in track 003. tnx very much.

Thank you for your comment/link! I tried doing the 1 sec. track on the nuvi 855 but the 1,2,3,4 won't work on my unit. I read the whole thread but nothing seems to work for me. Even the thread for the 7xx units turned out different for my unit which is 8xx. I kept trying since yesterday but to no avail. I looked all over the net and didn't find anything regarding activating the 1s track for the 855. Also how do you turn off the "stick to road" for the nuvi? I don't have an option for this...

7 series is capable of 1234 function
8 series... im not sure
for the new model that ends in 5 like the 2x5, 7x5 it is capable

btw... if you turn on the 1234 nuvi automatically switch to off road AFAIK
i think your 855 is equipt with 1234
