Partial Tracing of Shoreline

If we found that the shoreline should be edited, can we post a partial tracing (open ended) of shoreline, and how to post it?

Yes, do trace the shoreline too. gdb file will do, not kml so I don't have to convert...

Ok to make high resolution trace for major developed areas. Minor areas, just make a simple trace to correct the shoreline.
