Well it would be nice to have the updated map in my GPS unit as I wasted lots of time recording new tracks that did not show in my GPS until I uploaded them into Map source, this track has a new track and I believe a more detailed track of the rd that is already in the newer map.

We are very sorry in your predicament. But this is the best way to protect the interest of a good contributor like you. This is to prevent those people that the prime interest is to download only the updated map without exerting effort, spending time and shelling out some money for this noble project. This is to prevent those people who would ride to the effort of others in order to gain personal interest.

Be patient, I am very sure that the Judge is constantly keeping both eyes on your efforts. Sooner or later you will have the prized Contributor Status and probably the Major C if you continue contributing significantly and regularly.

As an advice, Plan Your Travel by consulting first the demo map (Mapsource) so that you will not waste time, effort and money and then Travel Your Plan.

I'm using Mac, so I didn't know how to view the demo map properly, until I installed Windows. It took me 4 uploads to get it right. You'll get there, don't worry.
