Named several roads in downtown San Fernando, Pampanga and surrounding areas.

My first contribution.

Hi woohoo. Very nice for a first contribution . A very minor correction only, please check the track standards http://roadguide.ph/forums/showpost....94&postcount=1, specifically about this issue highlighted in red:

Naming issues.

use santa not sta
use street not st (reason see one line below)
use saint not st (reason see one line above)
use santo not sto
use n not ñ (hopefully this will be changed in the future)
use drive not dr
use mount not mt
use extension not extn (maybe ext is possible- have to check)

Using ñ results in garbled text when label is viewed in the GPS. Please edit your file and re-upload... TIA

pahabol... if you know the road restrictions (like one-way, no entry, no left/right turn & etc.) said info would be very useful in the map and is considered as a correction... TIA

Thanks. How do I go about assigning roads that are only partially one-way?
How should I name them?

e.g., V. Tiomico Street is one such road. Its easternmost portion is 2-way while the rest is 1-way.

Sorry for forgetting about the ñ. Perhaps it's because my Nuvi shows it properly even without being able to pronounce it correctly.

I'll make the changes immediately.

BTW, how do I "correct" the allowed routes through the intersection of JASA/Olongapo-Gapan Road and McArthur Hiway in San Fernando, Pampanga?

It's been ages since the traffic going thru was "redesigned" to avoid traffic jams in that area.

You mean turn restrictions (no left/right turns) or no entry, or one way? Answer is same as posted link above.

Above answers of course assumes that you have installed mapsource (which i think you already have) and know at least the basics. If not, please look for the mapsource manual located in the folder where mapsource is installed in your PC... HTH

This road is not routable for motorists and should be changed to footpath access because the street is so narrow and has lots of obtacles that only residents can pass by it.
