Please upload your tracks here for version 1.08.

please check your contributions against the 1.07 demo map.

Waypoints that are uploaded here will most likely not be incorporated in 1.08, upload them at the waypoint threads. any waypoints in these files will be considered explanatory to tracks and further on ignored.

Please use the correct thread for the correct contribution...

Please switch stick to road off in your gps.
Please set your gps to record at 1s interval.


Please put all your explanation in your gdb file or on the accompanying screenshot ( i do not check the text while integrating the data, i only check the attachments... If it's not in the attachment, i don't get to see it).
Please if you use a screenshot name it the same as the gdb file.
Pasensya na, i'm sure we'll get this streamlined sooner or later...

what do u mean by stick on road is on ? what i did was turn the guidance method to off road? m using a gpsmap 60csx, can u enlighten me on how to use the "stick on road" method so i can contribute.

Hi chinito30. Please check your tracks as this thread is for NEW tracks only. Please cut/delete (in mapsource using the track edit tools) the tracks accordingly so what's left are those tracks NOT yet on the demo map v1.07 and these new tracks connects to existing roads. If you think that the other tracks that you recorded (you have nice 1 sec tracks btw) are of better resolution than the roads present in the demo map v1.07, please upload the track as a CORRECTION track in the tracks correction thread. And please take out the waypoints and routes, unless they are explanations of the tracks you've contributed. After you've made the necessary corrections, please re-upload your file after deleting your previous upload. TIA

your tracks stick to the road, they show the road and not your actual gps position. it's somewhere in the settings. its either "stick on road" or "lock on road" or similar. switch it off and see the difference next time you make a track.

the off road guidance is of no import. you can use the the 60 to route, as long as the "stick to road is off", it will record correct tracks

thanks for the info. Just for enlightenment, how long of track not on the original map should i upload to qualify for the more detailed map ?

as i search through the setting, think "off road" is the nearest i gt to the stick to the road off. can't find anything else.

Please check your 60CSx settings. Go to the map page, then click the MENU button, then Setup Map, Map Setup - General, then "Lock On Road" change to "OFF" if it's set to "on". Please update us what the setting was when you recorded those tracks so we'll know if it can be used or not. TIA
