The tracks were taken using my Etrex Legend Cx. Must be the satellite reception, as we were crawling under dense foliage.Cx is not yet equipped with a better chipset like the CSx, H and other newer models. Also, the placement of the device while moving is a factor, the ideal setup should be face up. I attached mine in the backpack strap, out of sky view most of the time. We will be tracking back the trail anytime this year with Arvin and his Vista HCx. Will post the tracks for comparison.Comment

Copy brod. If you can identify rest zones, camping sites, danger areas & etc and mark them with waypoints, i think it would help other climbers who would want to follow your trail. If you want, i can lend you my 60CSx on your climbing trip so that the trails will be recorded...Comment
