    Understanding Android

    check this out http://developer.android.com/about/d...rds/index.html
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.

Gingerbread wins! Its because 71% of Tablets in the market today still uses gingerbread as their flatform...

But if you have the chance for ics upgrade then do it. Ics is way better than GB specially if you have dual core/quad core units.

It is a big blow to us Little Green Robot fan when the US courts rules in favor of the rotten apple with their patent cases!

Yes it's between Samsung (I have not yet figured out a nickname for them) and rotten apple, but Samsung is a big factor in getting the little green robot in the main stream market.

i'm not sure what you mean by "Samsung is a big factor in getting the little green robot in the main stream market". aren't they on the main stream already? imo, they may not be as popular as the ios but they're quite 'up there' already.
got a question? google it or do a forum search.

I think what sir arvin mean is that Without Samsung Tablet & Smartphone which is Android base, Android will not reach its status today as the most popular flatform in its class..Also android is more popular than IOS "with 46 percent compared to iOS’s 34 percent of impressions"...

imo, given android's momentum (even before samsung started adopting it on their devices), it would still be as 'popular' as it is today.

Yes as Pyth said, my opinion is that SammySung was/is instrumental in proving that Little green robot works and works great!

In my opinion only, if (God forbid) SammySung closed shop tomorrow, we will surely see the Green Robot drop market share below iOS, actually I'd bet on it.

But that said, I think the Green Robot has established itself as a good OS to be able to bounce back if that happens.
