As for the fans, there are still metal casings nowadays, but for industrial use, so basically Unkel HBT can be Era correct, just that for heavy duty use

Then again Retro is in, so maybe it's true that he is 18 years bald! I mean old!

hahahahaha! Now I just realized why you were ribbing me! SHEESH the info is all there! My bad! I have no idea why my eyes or mind decided not to process the last few words of that short sentence.

My apologies to ranmaru!! And to Unkel HBT. Hmm maybe I might need reading glasses soon.. then again I am short sighted!

Here is to Retro and Pomellos!

just to confirm the 1sec track access is via the speedometer or the 1234 way?

Please post your firmware info just so we can post it as well.

        Hi Arvin

Here are the exact details on the version that I'm using:

        Software version 3.20
        GPS Firmware 2.70

I'm assuming that the recent software update that I received from the Garmin website was really a software update and not a firmware one.

Oh, and one more thing.. I verified that the 1,2,3,4 technique does NOT work for 2360.

        Ciao,
        Ranma

            Nuvi 1360

Nuvi 1360 is capable of 1sec track by enabling it via diagnostic logs which is accessible via the speedometer and pressing it for about 5secs.

                        Nuvi 2465/2565/2575/2595

I Found it on this link
                        http://masmap.org/cms4/documentation...ads/nuvi-2465/

To activate the 1 second tracklog on the Nuvi 2465/2565/2575/2595, follow these steps:

                        1. Turn on your Nuvi

                        2. Press View Map

                        3. Press the Speed indicator

                        4. Press the Speedometer for 6 seconds

                        5. In the Diagnostic Page, scroll down and press the Diagnostic Logging button

                        6. Press the Start Recording button

                        7. In the Select Data to log window check GPX

                        8. Press the Settings button at the top left

                        9. Press Start

                        10. You should now see a recording status duration indicator in the top-middle part of the map

                        11. Once you have finished tracking, you may click the Stop button on the map.

                          Thanks for Posting Kuya,

So basically it's the same as the (a) method which is the speedo method!

Will request Kuya HBT to update the first post
