Nuvi Models that are Mapsource Compatible

    Hi guys!

Will be in Singapore this April and is thinking of getting another Nuvi model... I read in the other thread that newer models are not compatible with mapsource anymore. if you can please post what nuvi models you have that are still compatible with mapsource and what mapsource version are you using.

      Ate,

On the other hand why not choose the latest Nuvi model that you like or suites your taste and if it happens to be only basecamp compatible, then just use basecamp, because a lot of members confirm that they do the same job, just takes some getting used to.

Of course I have it on my laptop but still use mapsource just coz I know where all the commands are and how to do stuff already, but if I had to go cold tukey on mapsource I think it is doable.

It would be a shame to choose only those that are mapsource compatible specially if you like a feature of a newer model.

Just like what you said... I'm already very much familiar with mapsource and don't like to go the extra mile in learning basecamp's every key stroke. too lazy hehe... besides, newer models are definitely more expensive... might not have the extra budget for it... I'm leaning towards nuvi 3790 though... but who knows! i might go the basecamp route if and when i find a newer nuvi model that i like. basta ba you'll help me eh.
